Seminary Co-op Bookstores

An independent bookseller in Hyde Park serving readers locally and worldwide. The Seminary Co-op houses one of the largest collections of academic books in the world. Both The Seminary Co-op and 57th Street Books are open for browsing. Offerings include new and featured titles, staff recommendations, UChicago faculty publications, children's books, coursebooks, e-books, digital audiobooks, gift cards, and pre-orders. Also offering memberships, publishing (Ode Books and Seminary Co-op Offsets), consulting, advertising & paid content, event programming, a weekly newsletter, podcast (Open Stacks), and supporting offsite events. Both stores host weekly Storytimes (57th Street Books) and a variety of in-store author events. An online shop is available 24/7.
